The Rules and Guidelines have been updated, specifically this part below

3. Absolutely no Multi-Level Marketing product will be discussed on OzMS, they will be deleted immediately, no ifs or buts. If it can't be purchased over the counter at a reputable Health Food Shop, then it does not exist. Therefore, no use discussing it.

Cheers.....Darin ;o)

Discuss MS here:: Diet and MS- what do people think/do?
I am the same as Darin. Basically eat no red meat. I'm also very careful about preservatives and food additives as well. I do definitely notice a difference with my body if I eat red meat, and when I eat it it is always a very small portion.

I try to opt for as natural as I can with everything. I'm even growing some vegies these days as I know then they are not covered in pesticides etc; and they taste HEAPS better than bought ones, so you have to ask yourself why is that so? Is it because of all the rubbish they spray and fertilise with, and more importantly how much of that are we ingesting.

Site Other:: The Journey Club
A Family Program

When? Sundays 2pm – 4pm, Commences Sunday 9th November for 4 weeks

Where? The MS Centre, 398 Barkly Street, Footscray

Improving or maintaining family functioning is key to helping you and your children adapt to life with MS.

The Journey Club is a four week program for families with primary school aged children. In a supportive environment all family members attend together and learn complementary skills. Children and parents separate into two groups, covering a different topic each week (ie. Symptoms of MS, feelings, changes in family life, support systems) and using a range of games, activities and even art projects to generate discussion.

The MS Journey Club allows you and your children many opportunities to voice their concerns, dispel misunderstandings and myths about MS, and learn about MS together. It also helps you develop strategies for meeting the challenges of parenting with MS

Register by phoning 9845 2765 or emailing educationvic@mssociety.com.au with Journey Club in the subject line

This is a free program

The program will only proceed if we get sufficient numbers

Please delete if this email does not apply to your situation, the email system I use does not allow me to be selective,

thanks

Andrea Salmon

Education Program Coordinator

MS Australia – ACT/NSW/VIC

T 03 9845 2700• F 03 9845 2777

The Nerve Centre

54 Railway Road

Private Bag 900

BLACKBURN VIC 3130

email: asalmon@mssociety.com.au• www.msaustralia.org.au

Thanks for sharing this info Helen. It's interesting to see the link between memory and B12 defiency. Could be another reason why our neuros test our B12 levels regularly.
