  1. Summer concessions for NSW, SA & QLD how you can help get these passed in government
Categories: Tips for Living and Coping with MS MS Information
The MS Society has been campaigning for this but they really NEED US, the people with MS, to help strengthen the campaign by writing to our local politicians and putting pressure on them with our personal MS stories and how the heat affects us. The more of us who can get involved the quicker this will happen.

Without us and our personal stories it will fall on deaf ears as it's just the society lobbying for it without support from sufferers'. Together we can make it happen though!!

Investigating the benefits gained by participating in online communities specific to physically disabled individuals.

Edit: Please take the time to do this survey, often research gets a lot of exposure, which helps to let the general public know about disability issues etc.

    Categories: My MS Story
Well where do I start. I was born in 1968. I was officially Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in April 2004 (Relapsing Remitting), although it was suspected in 2000 when i had suffered Demyelination of the spinal cord (maybe Transverse Myelitis at that stage) (C5), after that and numerous tests later (lumbar punctures absolutely suck I will never have another), no conclusive Diagnosis could be made until 2004 when I suffered a bad exacerbation (Wheelchair) I #OOPS# myself, well not really that was one function that proved difficult at the time, (eh I can laugh now), that event made it conclusive.

  10. Andrew - My Experience with MS
    Categories: My MS Story
It all started in the first week of January 2002 when I started to get numbness on the side of my left hand. I didn’t think too much of it but over the next few weeks it progressed up my arm a bit and then to the right hand. As a husband and father of two children I had lots of other things to worry about.
