This is a list of Medications that help to manage the Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms, not all are on the "Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme" (PBS), or if they are they may not be approved to be used with or prescribed for Multiple Sclerosis symptoms, this doesn't mean that there aren't ways around these rules that your medicos can take advantage of, so just ask, you never know until you ask.
Also some of the drugs will vary in effectiveness for each individual person, sometimes they work better for one person and less so for another. Just one example, I have had experience with Modafinil, it can be prescribed for anyone who needs such a drug, but it is not listed on the PBS for Multiple Sclerosis treatment, so it will cost you, there does seem to be ways to get it slightly cheaper though that's something you would need to discuss with the prescribing Doctor. Above all never be afraid to ask about all options that are available, it could be the difference of a constant daily struggle dealing with a symptom, or managing that symptom so it is bearable to live with.
